The Entrepreneurship Cell at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College came into existence on 04/04/2007.The E-Cell is working diligently for the conduction of numerous events in the future. The cell’s membership to NEN ( National Entrepreneurship Network) was obtained on 16/06/2007. Since then the E-Cell at BCREC is contributing in a very effective manner in promoting the idea and concept of entrepreneurship. The cell has a structured student body comprising E-leader, Core-committee and members who are continuously mentored by the Faculty leaders of the cell. The network of E-Cell remains in touch with other 600 institutes and keeps on conducting workshops, seminars, summits, business-idea competitions, business-plan competitions, quizzes etc on a regular basis. The cell currently has more than 300 student members working together.
